Our systems are available in PVCu, steel or aluminium with a variety of finishes and suitable for both internal and external applications. Metal frames can be Polyester Powder Coated to any standard RAL colour or supplied with an unpainted finish, just contact us with your requirements and we will do the rest.  

Fire Resistant Glazing - Firescreens no longer have to be big chunky frames with georgian wired glass. The framing systems have been developed over the past few years to give better sight lines and some systems no longer need to have as many transoms or mullions, some systems allow glass to be butt jointed giving clear viewing areas and allowing maximium light. 

Our steel Fire Rated systems can acheive a fire resistance from 30 mins integrity only to 2hrs integrity and 2hrs insulation all in accordance with BS476 part 22. Technical information can be supplied on request.

Installation Only - We offer a full installation only service. If you already have your own doors, windows, curtain walling etc, or even if you are a supplier yourself we will be more than happy to carry out the installation for you.  As well as giving you a first class installation service we will also provide you with our installation Guarantee. Or why not let us project manage the whole thing to completion.

Mastic Applications -  Due to popular demand we are now offering a mastic application service.  Whether it is a one off specialist job or a continuous contract you are looking for we can help. This service is not unique to the glazing industry but also to house builders etc. for such things as expansion joints.

Glazed Smoke Curtains - Forget about the old traditional fabric smoke curtains which drop into place when needed. They are not attractive and need to be serviced on a regular basis (usually annually) Designs in Glass Ltd can offer a new service where the traditional smoke curtains can be replaced with a glazed system. This system can be framed or frameless ands needs no annual testing.
